About Us

We know that searching for a child care center can be stressful, but finding the right facility can also be rewarding for your family. Finding the right center gives you the peace of mind that your child is learning, growing and having fun. Location, value and the quality of care are all important factors in your decision. You'll want to place your child with a center that first cares for your child like you would. We know that child care safety and security is as important as academics and activities. At Abiding Hope, we know you have many options when it comes to child care; we hope you choose our program to help care for and educate your child.

"Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself." -- John Dewey

Philosophy

Our school offers a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that fosters creativity and endless opportunities for self-discovery. Abiding Hope provides a Christian setting where children are given a multi-sensory approach to learning. This allows for discovery, creativity, and the development and strengthening of their gifts and talents. This enables children to acquire respect for self and others, the love of God, and love for one another.

Outreach

Jesus calls us to care for those who have fewer resources than we do. Abiding Hope schools participate in outreach throughout the year.

Outreach opportunities include St. Jude's Children's Hospital Trike-a-Thon, child sponsorship through the Haitian Timoun Foundation, and food drive benefitting Light of the World food pantry. We appreciate your support in helping your child understand the needs of others.

Early Intervention Services

Abiding Hope Nature School contracts with a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist that can provide early intervention services during the school day. These services include, but are not limited to, general screenings, developmental screenings and evaluations, occupational therapy, and speech/language therapy. We also have resources available for physical therapy and psychological services, as needed. Some benefits of early intervention services include enhancing daily opportunities for learning, fostering independence, and help assist in the development of cognition, communication, and social-emotional growth.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Abiding Hope schools believe that we are all children of God and All means All. All children in our program are entitled to experience every activity we offer. Administration and educational policies are designed for all children and do not discriminate. Abiding Hope schools fully comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and make accommodations for all individuals within reason.
